I I I I I I I I I '1 I I I I I I I I I PC CASE CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS Givonna Reed, Interim Human Resources Manager Background In early 2002 the City conducted a recruitment process for paid on-call fire fighters. On May 9, 2002 nine individuals began employment with the City as paid on-call fire fighters. The following individuals have successfully completed their one-year probationary period including all necessary training: Timothy Bergerson, Chad Fossum, Daniel Johnson, Matthew Kohner, Dustin Lemke, Roger Peterson, David Rollins and Brian Wetterlind. Staff Recommendation Based on satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, staff recommends that the following individuals be retained as paid on-call fire fighters effective May 9, 2003: Timothy Bergerson, Chad Fossum, Daniel Johnson, Matthew Kohner, Dustin Lemke, Roger Peterson, David Rollins and Brian Wetterlind. Committee Action: Motion to recommend that the City Council a adopt resolution ending the probationary period and granting status as paid on-call fire fighters effective May 9, 2003 for Timothy Bergerson, Chad Fossum, Daniel Johnson, Matthew Kohner, Dustin Lemke, Roger Peterson, David Rollins and Brian Wetterlind.
