-296- <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF GIVONNA REED FOR THE <br /> POSITION OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of January 14, 2003, City Council accepted <br />the resignation of Patrick Leadens and author/zed a recruitment process to fill the <br />vacancy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a recruitment process was completed with the assistance of Labor <br />Relations and Associates as authorized by City Council on February 11th, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends Givonna Reed for the.position of Human <br />Resources Manager. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confines the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to authorize the hiring of Givonna Reed for the full-time <br />Human Resource Manager position. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Ms. Reed will be compensated at a rate of $ 63, 186.00 with three weeks of <br />vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationary period.
