Norman <br />City Administrator <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW <br />Ramsey, MN 55303-6140 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Norman: <br /> <br />This letter serves as an amendment to our original Agreement dated January 17, 2003 <br />for consulting services to assist the City of Ramsey in identifying and implementing <br />strategies related to positive land-use and transportation improvements within the <br />TH#10 Corridor. <br /> <br />The work outlined in that Agreement is in the completion stage and there are a number <br />of next steps that have been identified as part of a plan to continue these efforts. <br /> <br />This letter serves as a request.for authorization to continue work and complete the tasks <br />as agreed upon below: <br /> <br />· Gather data and complete analysis' to develop 'an Alternative Urban Areawide <br /> Review (AUAR) in the TH10 corridor emphasizing the need for transportation <br /> improvements and official mapping. <br />· Conduct a workshop with city staff and partner agencies as part of the <br /> institutional review process of the AUAR. The workshop would also provide an <br /> opportunity to discuss current and future environmental documentation, <br /> transportation engineering, and right of way preservation, <br />· Produce an aerial based graphic depicting the land area recommended for <br /> official mapping and a mitigation plan to address and satisfy Environmental <br /> Quality Board requirements. <br />· Continue communication with property owners in the corridor to clarify plans and <br /> issues and listen to concerns. <br />· Continue communication with State and local transportation officials to clarify <br /> status of planning and schedule related to TH10. <br /> <br /> <br />
