This rate is approximat 'ly $2,000 per month with an <br />agreed to inflationary index. <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated the Park Commission would neei s to approve this prior to it <br />going to Council. ~ <br />Commissioner Erickson asked what type of pole is located behind City Hall. <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated it was a County Tower and .could lie a co-location, .but is too far <br />out for service. <br />Commissioner Olds asked what type of service it would be. <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated it would be a monopole. <br />Park/LTtilities Supervisor Riverblood reminded the Commission that these poles are very <br />unpopular with neighbors and not- esthetically nice looking. He also stated that the applicant <br />would be responsible for all fees for landscaping, curbing, esthetic and maintenance of the pole. <br />He stated on the positive side it could be used as a light standard fo the near term skate facility. <br />Commissioner Olds asked how many residential properties bordered the park. <br />Park/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated eight, and they're looking at a power line. right now. <br />He stated they will align the intersections and identify accesses and turnarounds and suggested <br />they do a net lawn. ~I <br />Commissioner Olds stated this could be used as a bargaining <br />Chairperson Johns stated she wasn't fond of the idea but in conjunction with the Skate Park it <br />might work. ~, <br />Civil Engineer II Linton stated when Waste Management. gave the j City the property, it was with <br />the restriction that it be a park. He stated they would allow it to be amended to include cell <br />towers.
