-134- <br /> <br /> FACILITY USE AND RENTAL POLICY <br />MUNICIPAL CENTER / PARK CENTER/COMMUNITY SIGN <br /> <br />The purpose of this policy is to provide written guidelines in conjunction with the use and rental <br />of the Municipal Center and Park Center. This policy supersedes Res°lution #88-49 adopted <br />March 22, 1988. <br /> <br />The Ramsey Municipal Center houses the administrative, police, and fire functions of the City of <br />Ramsey. The Park Center houses the Parks/Utilities Supervisor. Additionally, the Municipal <br />Center serves as t!'~e oJ35'-,:i'a!a location for d-~-various public meetings of tine City Cottncil_, <br />Council Commitecs/Boards-and other governlnental bodies. Regular meet/~gs of the Citx, <br />Council are held at Fire Station I located on Armstrong Boulevard NW. <br /> <br />With the Ramsey Municipal Center, the following rooms may be available for public use in <br />accordance with this policy: <br /> <br />C,,-,unci[ C!:angacrs * <br />Lower Level South * <br /> <br />Capacity: 4__~_9¢-3- persons <br /> <br />The Park Center has available for public use in accordance with this policy, one large common <br />area that accommodates a capacity of 74 persons. <br /> <br />The Community Sign is available for use by communi~' omanizations subiect to a tee established <br />annually by' City Council resolution. The ['ollowing community organizations will be provided <br />use of the comlmmitv sian (two-sides-one wcek) fi'ee of charae tbr up to four (4) times per year <br />as available: Ramsev Lions, Ramsev Youth Athletic Association, and. League of Women Voters. <br /> <br />Reliaious facilties that arc utilized by the Cit~ as pollin,a places will be provided use of tine <br />community sign (two-side-one-week) free of chame up to ~bur (4) time per year as available. <br />Information displayed on the community' sign by religious organizations must represent a broader <br />community interest program or initiative, to be approved by the City Administrator or his/her <br />designee. <br /> <br />Thc need to provide information about Cih~ business takes precendence over any reservation, <br />paid or unpaid. Paid reservations will be rescheduled if possible or re'funded it' Cit,/business <br />replaces the comrnunit.v o:rgm~ization reservation.
