-138- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />NEWSLETTER POLICY <br /> <br />The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for information that may appear in <br />the City's newsletter, The Ramsey Resident. The newsletter shall be published <br />throughout the year on a schedule to be determined by the annual budget for this <br />function. The newsletter shall contain information with regard to official City business, <br />community events sponsored by the City, local schools, and other not-for-profit <br />community organizations. Information contained in the newsletter should be of.a broader <br />community interest, to be approved by the City Administrator or his/her designee. <br /> <br />One or two pages of the newsletter may be designated as "Community Page,s" depending <br />on the amount of material submitted for publication. The "Community Pages" section of <br />the newsletter must contain the following disclaimer: <br /> "The articles contained on these pages are for the purpose of providing <br />information about events or initiatives occurring the larger Ramsey community. The City <br />does not necessarily endorse nor subscribe to the beliefs, values, or political affiliations <br />of any of the organizations that may present information in this section." <br /> <br />The Assistant City Administrator shall be designated as the Editor of the newsletter. <br /> <br />Policy established: May xx, 2003 <br /> <br /> <br />
