.

Board Member Max stated it was initiated as a tree sale before it became an
Environmental Expo, so the Expo could be held at any time.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that he would be the main coordinator of the
Environmental Expo and that he is also in charge of coordinating the recycling day
events. Coordinator Anderson stated that they have always been held on the same day in
the past, but now one or the other will need to be pushed off. Coordinator Anderson
stated that typically, the recycling day is held the same day the surrounding communities
hold their recycling days. Coordinator Anderson stated there is no reason that an
alternate date could not be chosen.

Chairperson McDilda requested that the Environmental Expo topic be added to the
agenda for the February EPB meeting.

Chairperson McDilda reported that one of the bullet items on the work plan is to
"Maintain the Ramsey Tree Book". He stated that changes have already been made to
the Ramsey Tree Book.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson suggested a new focus toward moving the Ramsey
Tree Book to an electronic version, not necessarily getting rid of the hard copy, but to add
an electronic version. Coordinator Anderson stated that a few minor revisions have been
made where necessary and that occasional updates may be necessary in the future.

.

Chairperson McDilda suggested that might be something to bring up when the EPB
members look at the Wetland Guidebook, whether it might be wise to do a new printing
of the Tree Book as well with revisions.

Board Member Max suggested the use of an electronic version of the book, with plenty of
internet resources, to allow for easy changes to the book. He recommended using the
web page to include the Wetland Guidebook and Ramsey Tree Book.

Chairperson McDilda suggested the addition of another bullet item to the work plan that
says, "Moving to the electronic version of the Ramsey Tree Book". He stated that would
involve money to create the web pages, which would mean an offset to the printing
charges. He stated that he liked the idea of having some hard copies available for
citizens.

Board Member Olds asked if new residents coming in received any information directing
people to the web page.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson responded in the affirmative.

Board Member aids suggested expanding that information to a list that directs people to
the Wetland Guidebook or Ramsey Tree Book on the web page, but to still have a hard
copy available.

.

Environmental Policy Board!
