After consideration, Board consensus was to leave the two as separate items.

Chairperson McDilda indicated that the EPB is already coordinating "Completion and
support adoption of the Wetland Inventory for Ramsey" with City Staff.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson suggested placing EPB member names beside the
areas of interest to progress with each bullet item.

Board Member Sibilski volunteered to lead a sub-committee on the "Research Open
Space Referendum" bullet item.

Board Member Freeburg and Board Member Max volunteered to work on "Work with
City Staff and Council to address protection and connection of greenway spaces as
outlined in the 5-year Goals and Strategic Focus Areas."

Board Member Bentz volunteered to work on the "Public Grants and Funding calendar
for related environmental initiatives and submit to staff and council".

Board Member Max volunteered to "Research the potential and!or feasibility of
greenway banking system".

Chairperson McDilda suggested that all EPB members would work on the "Encourage
citizen participation" bullet item. He requested that discussion about the Environmental
Expo be placed on the agenda for the next EPB meeting.

Board Member Max explained that discussion about not hosting an Environmental Expo
was brought up at December 4, 2006 EPB meeting because the Ramsey3 session will be
held the same weekend.

Chairperson McDilda stated his desire to discuss the Environmental Expo as an official
agenda item for the record so Staff can discuss it at a work session for City Council input.

Board Member Bentz suggested that a notification be sent to vendor participants from
prevIOUS years.

Board Member Max concurred with Board Member Bentz' suggestion.

Board Member Sibilski stated that there had been talk about potentially holding the tree
sale one week earlier.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated there might be a conflict with the ACD tree
sale. Coordinator Anderson stated that the Environmental Expo has typically been held
that time ofthe year, but it could be hosted at another time of the year.

Chairperson McDilda stated the tree sale revolves around Arbor Day.

Environmental Policy Board!
