<br />. Coordinator Anderson stated there is the capability in-house currently to make it <br />available on the website. Coordinator Anderson clarified that this hasn't been done yet <br />because a long time ago there was talk by the EPB of going to an electronic version, and <br />making it more interactive. He stated that residents should at least have the ability to <br />look at it online. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member aids and seconded by Board Member Freeburg to direct staff <br />to put an electronic version of the Tree Book on the City website, the first step is making <br />it available electronically, but to expand as new resources become available. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Board Members Bentz, Freeburg, <br />Harvey, aids, and Sibilski. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Max <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Board Member Sibilski asked Coordinator Anderson if he was doing anything with the <br />wetland buffer policy statements that EPB has worked on. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coordinator Anderson replied that at this time, staff is only moving forward with the map <br />because the policy recommendations would require an ordinance amendment. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda asked if they could just be presented as guidelines. <br /> <br />Coordinator Anderson stated his direction was that based on the recommendations, they <br />really would need to be incorporated into the ordinance itself, it can't be set aside as a <br />policy. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda asked if Councilmember Strommen was aware of this mindset. <br /> <br />Coordinator Anderson stated that he has discussed this with Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />Board Member Sibilski stated he isn't pleased with that decision. He suggested directing <br />staff to look at an ordinance change because wetlands aren't going to be protected. <br /> <br />Board Member Bentz stated that he didn't see any reason why the approval of the map <br />couldn't go forward. <br /> <br />Board Member aids asked for clarification if the map would be going to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coordinator Anderson stated the map is being brought forward to both the Planning <br />Commission and City Council. <br /> <br />Environmental Policy Board!
