<br />Chairperson McDilda concurred, and he was hopeful that Council Meeting discussion <br />would be handled as respectfully as the Ramsey3 meetings. He stated he welcomed <br />different viewpoints. He stated that healthy debate was a good thing; and, the <br />development ofthe community rests with the people that live in the City. <br /> <br />BOARD INPUT <br /> <br />Board Member Sibilski commented further on the agenda for City Council, which <br />includes a case involving the awarding of a contract to develop the water resource plan. <br />He stated that in looking through the case, they are including funding for completing the <br />wetland inventory. He stated he was surprised at the low price. Board Member Sibilski <br />suggested setting up a work session with the Council members to discuss an open space <br />referendum, and see where they stand on the issue. <br /> <br />Board Member Max stated that considerable discussion took place at the Ramsey3 about <br />preservation of open space. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda stated he will follow up with Councilmember Strommen to see <br />how it should be brought to the City Council or EDA. Chairperson McDilda stated that <br />previous opposition may be looking for a fair purchase program so it doesn't turn into a <br />land taking program. <br /> <br />Board Member Sibilski stated that Trust for Public Lands has no current intention to have <br />another session to talk about financing for land planning. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda suggested that Board Member Sibilski contact Councilmember <br />Strommen personally to discuss the issue with her. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Max and seconded by Board Member Harvey to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson McDilda, Board Members Freeburg, Harvey, <br />Max, aids, and Sibilski. Voting No: None.
