<br />Motion by Chairperson Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to recommend to City <br />Council that the platting requirements be modified to require the inclusion of the vision clearance <br />triangle as a portion of right-of-way dedication. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Parking Ramp Bicycle Locker Rental Agreement <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated one of the amenities associated with the new parking ramp <br />are eight bicycle lockers which enhance the multimodal dimension of the parl(ing ramp. These <br />lockers are to be available to the public on a first come basis. Included in the Committee's packet <br />is a rental agreement for the use of these lockers which is based upon a model agreement used by <br />another community. The annual rental rate of $10 and l(ey deposit amount of $100 have been <br />advertised in the Marchi April edition of the Ramsey Resident. It is anticipated that the rental <br />agreements will be handled by the Administration Department. Mr. Janl(owsl(i indicated the <br />costs of administering these agreements are anticipated to be minimal and should be covered by <br />the rental amount. Mr. Janl(owsl(i advised staff recommends adoption of the draft Bicycle <br />Locker Rental Agreement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson commented when she was utilizing the bus she had looked into this type <br />of thing in Coon Rapids and the locl(ers were filled. These locl(ers are very much in line with the <br />City's move towards green. She asked if the lockers are on hand already. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski responded in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Chairperson Elvig, to recommend to City <br />Council the adoption of the draft Bicycle Locl(er Rental Agreement. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Chairperson Elvig asl(ed if the City holds the right to go into these lockers. <br />City Engineer Janl(owsl(i replied yes, this is outlined in Article No.9. Councilmember Dehen <br />noted paragraph 9 of the rental agreement states that the City expressly reserves the right to <br />inspect the locl(er with or without notice to the renter. Councilmember Olson asl(ed if these <br />lockers will hold one or two bicycles. Management Intern Gladhill replied he assumes the <br />locl(ers are intended for one bicycle. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Councilmembers Olson and Dehen. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Committee was to take Citizen Input next in the agenda. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Ms. Jennifer Asmussen, 15029 Helium Street NW, stated she lives right behind the old city hall <br />and her road currently hool(s up to Alpine Drive. Services have been proposed in their <br />development and they have always voted it down.
