Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Consider Receiving Plans and Specifications for IP 06-22 <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson reviewed that the Ramsey Town Center Master Development <br />Agreement assigned responsibility for construction of certain roads to the Master Developer and <br />other roads to the City. The City is responsible for construction of Civic Center Drive from <br />Sapphire Street to Rhinestone Street and Rhinestone Street from Civic Center Drive to Sunwood <br />Drive. ,Preparation of the plans and specifications was authorized in 2006. The engineer's <br />estimate for this project is $310,000. Mr. Olson advised the City currently does not have a <br />development contract with Crest View or the Anoka County Medical Examiner's Office. A <br />request has been received from the Anoka County Medical Examiner's Office to move forward <br />with the construction this year to ensure that there is curbing and blacktop in March when they <br />begin their project. It will be a tight squeeze to get this completed during this construction <br />period. Plans are available for review. The City has received a letter from Anoka County <br />indicating that this project is planned in the County's Five Year CIP. It will not be known until <br />November of this year that it is final, but they feel it will be moved forward next year. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adopt Resolution <br />#07-06-143 approving Advertisement for Bids for IP 06-22. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Strommen, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />Look, and Olson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Consider Confirmation of Direction given at Closed Meeting <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Nelson recommended this item should be tabled to a future closed <br />session to be scheduled for June 26th. Staffwill get notice out with regard to the meeting date. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to table the confirmation of <br />direction given at closed meeting: City of Ramsey vs. 5A Partnership I, et al; District Court File <br />No. C1-006-2093. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Dehen, Elvig, Look, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #12: Report from Public Works <br /> <br />1) Discuss Lined Pond Maintenance Responsibilities <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated most stormwater ponds in the City are constructed below the <br />water table, making them normally wet ponds that provide an aesthetic benefit to the subdivision. <br />F or those ponds which cannot be constructed into the water table that the developer and property <br />owners would like to have for open water, an impermeable lining needs to be installed to hold <br /> <br />City Council / June 12, 2007 <br />Page 22 of 29 <br />
