CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 25, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Kirk Skoog <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. and Councilmember <br />Beahen led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked to add a case entitled Appointment to Charter Commission and also asked that <br />the public hearings be conducted first, even prior to citizen input. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Zimmerman, Beyer and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: 1997 Annual Street Maintenance Program <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:04 in order to conduct the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski announced this hearing is for Improvement Project g97-01 Sections 6 <br />and 7 Unplatted. <br /> <br />City Council/February 25, 1997 <br /> Page 3 of 28 <br /> <br /> <br />
