MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Dinner Meeting <br /> <br />The Anoka County Leadership reception is scheduled for April 11, 1997. <br /> <br />2) Adult Bookstore <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman asked about the Adult Bookstore being in conformance with regard <br />to their signs. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the Zoning Administrator is working on that right now. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman asked about the percent of gross receipts as it pertains to adult use. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder replied that less than 10% of his floor space is dedicated to adult use but he was <br />not sure about the gross receipts. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to send a letter to the <br />owner of the Adult Bookstore formally requesting information on his gross sales receipts. The <br />information received should be brought back to the Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen and Haas <br />Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />3) Shade Tree Awards Lunch <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder announced the Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee Awards Luncheon is <br />scheduled for March 27, 1997, from noon to 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />4) Barkela Manufacturing Tour <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder announced the Barkela Manufacturing facility tour scheduled for 5:30 p.m., <br />Wednesday, March 12, 1997. <br /> <br />5) Anoka Electric Walk Through <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder announced the Anoka Electric Cooperative walk through for City Council <br />scheduled for 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 1997. <br /> <br />6) Landmark Ground Breaking <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder announced the groundbreaking for Landmark Community Bank scheduled for <br />Wednesday, March 19, 1997, at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> City Council/March 11, 1997 <br /> Page 12 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
