3) Anoka County Leadership Reception <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder announced the Anoka County Leadership Reception will be held on <br />April 11, 1997, at Greenhaven and asked other Councilmembers to notify him if they are able to <br />attend. <br /> <br />4) Business Appreciation Day <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reported the Business Appreciation Day is scheduled for August 20, 1997, at Rum <br />River Hills Golf Course, followed by a dinner. <br /> <br />5) Ground Breaking for Heritage Millworks <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder advised this is not yet scheduled. <br /> <br />6) Report from Mayor <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented a brief report on several items including the MN Department of Trade and <br />Economic Development grant recently received for Vision-Ease Lens in conjunction with the Vo <br />Tech, the tour of the AEC building, and the well-attended Mayors Prayer Breakfast. <br /> <br />7) Schedule Police Chief Interviews <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder advised that the interviews for patrol officers will be completed this <br />week and asked the Council to advise when they will be available for interview of Police Chief <br />candidate. Consensus was reached to schedule interviews on Wednesday, April 2, 1997 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Haas Steffen and <br />Zimmerman.
