Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution to Reallocate 1995 Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) Funds and Allocate Additional 1997 CDBG Funds <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:18 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that, in March, the City Council identified the following <br />planning needs: a housing element to the comprehensive plan, an environmental element to the <br />comprehensive plan and a needs assessment for senior housing in the community. Staff was <br />directed to prepare a resolution for adoption that stated that $23,769 in CDBG funds for historic <br />preservation of the old schoolhouse and $3,231 from the 1997 unallocated CDBG fund balance <br />be applied to these planning projects. Ms. Frolik explained the necessity to conduct a public <br />hearing to reallocate the 1995 funds. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman.
