Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review and Approval of Amcon West; Case of Amcon <br />Corporation <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the City received a request for site plan review and <br />approval from Amcon Corporation. The plan proposes to construct a 48,390 square foot multi- <br />tenant office, manufacturing and warehouse structure in Business Park 95 Fourth Addition. The <br />site is proposed to have two accesses onto McKinley Street. The site is zoned Industrial which is <br />appropriate for the intended use. The proposed site plan was reviewed by the Business Park 95 <br />Architectural Review Board and the Planning Commission and meets or exceeds City Code <br />requirements in most areas. However, a grading and drainage plan has not yet been received nor <br />a 100 percent screened waste storage plan if the waste storage is to be conducted outside the <br />building. This will be reviewed by the City Engineer. She explained this is a tax increment <br />financing project under the instant equity program the City has been operating. The City <br />expenses toward the project are recovered within the time frame of the TIF district. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />proposed site plan and development permit for Amcon West contingent upon compliance with <br />the City Staff Review Letter dated April 30, 1997. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Approval of Precision Wood Products; Case of Amcon <br />Corporation <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Amcon Corporation has requested site plan review for a <br />48,690 square foot office and manufacturing facility for Precision Wood Products in the Business <br />Park 95 4th Addition. They are proposing two accesses onto McKinley Street. The westerly <br />access should align with the easterly access of Command on the north side of McKinley. The <br />site is zoned Industrial which is appropriate for the intended use. The proposed structure, <br />including its future expansion, meets City Code requirements. A grading and drainage plan has <br />not yet been received, however, a plan will be submitted to the City Engineer for review. This <br />plan was also reviewed by the Planning Commission and the Architectural Review Board. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve <br />the proposed site plan and development permit for Precision Wood Products contingent upon <br />compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated April 30, 1997. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
