Case #8: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Amending Permitted and Accessory Uses in the Industrial <br />and Business Warehouse Districts <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that on June 10, 1997, Council introduced an ordinance to <br />amend the permitted and accessory uses in multi-tenant or business incubator buildings in the <br />Industrial and Business Warehouse Districts. That ordinance is now eligible for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Ordinance #97-09 to amend Chapter 9 of the City Code to identify permitted and accessory uses <br />in multi-tenant buildings or business incubators located in the Business Warehouse and Industrial <br />districts. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beahen aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br />Councilmember Beyer absent <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Award Contract for Engineering Services for the Development of Alpine <br />Park (Improvement Project #97-21) <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the initial phase of the development of Alpine Park will be <br />the construction of five ball fields and an off-street parking area to service those fields. <br />Proposals for the engineering services were received on Friday and staff is recommending the <br />contract go to Howard R. Green (MSA) who submitted the lowest not-to-exceed price. <br /> <br />Upon inquiry, Mr. Schroeder responded there would in fact be open space. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to award the <br />engineering services for Alpine Park to Howard R. Green (MSA) who submitted the lowest not- <br />to-exceed bid of $8,000 for basic engineering services. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
