CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Natalie Haas Steffen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting to order at 7:29 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Chris Dempsey, 14794 Krypton Court NW, Ramsey - asked to be allowed input on the proposed <br />Charter amendment. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec responded that the Council will be accepting receipt of the required signatures and <br />will be passing it on to the Charter Commission for review. <br /> <br />Tom Anderson, 14030 Krypton Street NW, Ramsey - asked for information on brush and tree <br />debris removal following the storm. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed him of the chipping the City will provide and the extended hours at the <br />compost site which will accept the debris at no charge from Anoka County residents. <br /> <br />Charles Johnson, 6010 ~ 159th Lane NW, Ramsey - wanted to make sure there will be language <br />in the agreement for the proposed Apple Ridge that states that the lots adjacent the existing <br />subdivision will not be able to be re-subdivided and that the park will be installed. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed him that a motion was made that the buffer lots cannot be re-subdivided <br />and the park is being discussed. <br /> <br />City Council/July 8, 1997 <br /> Page 3 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
