Case#3: Request for a Conditional Use Permit for an Overage in Garage and <br /> Accessory Building Space; Case of Gary and Linda Grinde <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Gary and Linda Grinde are present and are requesting a <br />conditional use permit for an overage in garage and accessory building space on their property at <br />5655 - 148th Lane NW. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on July 1, and <br />one written comment in support of the request was received. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #97-07-174 adopting Findings of Fact #0431 relating to a request from Gary and <br />Linda Grinde for a conditional use permit to exceed the maximum accessory structure space <br />allowed on parcels less than one acre in size. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #97-07-175 approving the issuance of a conditional use permit based on Findings of <br />Fact #0431 and declaring terms of permit for an overage in garage and accessory building space. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed Sign Size Restrictions; Case <br />of Metropolitan ¥isions/Ampride <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik noted that Rick Zieser of Ampride is present to request a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the sign size restrictions on their ground sign at 6360 Highway <br />#10 NW. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on July 1 and there were no <br />verbal or written comments submitted pertaining to the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #97-07~176 adopting Findings of Fact #0432 relating to a request from Metropolitan <br />Visions for a conditional use permit to exceed sign size restrictions in a commercial district. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #97-07-177 approving the issuance of a conditional use permit based on Findings of <br />Fact #0432 and declaring terms of permit to exceed sign surface restrictions. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
