Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to remove <br />findings #22 which states: That the proposed use will be a substantial improvement to the <br />property in the immediate vicinity and the community as a whole. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: CouncilmemberHaas Steffen. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for an Interim Use Permit for a Temporary Office Structure; Case <br />of Amcor Precast <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that in November, 1995, the City Council issued an interim <br />use permit to Amcor for the use of a modular office structure at 6640 Industry Avenue NW until <br />June 30, 1997. The permit was granted in response to Amcor's request to augment their office <br />space while they took time to assess their permanent space needs at the subject property. Amcor <br />is requesting an additional two years to evaluate the permanency of their site. There were no <br />written or verbal comments received during the public hearing conducted by the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #97-08-209 adopting Findings of Fact #0439 relating to a request for an interim use <br />permit for a temporary office structure on the property generally known as 6640 Industry Avenue <br />NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer and Beahen. <br />Voting No: None.
