CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Monday, November 24, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Acting City Administrator Linda Waite Smith <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 6:39 and City Attorney <br />Goodrich led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberHaas Steffen. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Lighthouse Grille & Bar On-Sale Liquor License Suspension <br /> <br />City Attomey Goodrich stated that the City has charged the Lighthouse Grille & Bar (6937 <br />Highway #10 NW), owned by Barnyard Entertainment, Inc., with selling an alcoholic beverage <br />(on October 5, 1997) to a person under age 21. The employee selling the alcoholic beverage has <br />been charged with this offense in District Court and the under-age person has also been charged <br />in District Court for minor consumption.
