Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-07- RESOLUTION DECERTIFYNG TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO.6 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "City") has heretofore created Tax Increment Financing District No.6 (the "Tax Increment District") within the Development District No.1; and WHEREAS, no further developments are expected to be undertaken within the Tax Increment Distnct; and WHEREAS, all of the fmancial obligations of Tax Increment District No.6 have been paid; and WHEREAS, the City has determined to decertify the Tax Increment District. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City as follows: 1. The City Council hereby fmds, declares and determines to decertify Tax Increment Financing District No.6 (County Identifier 0-1) effective as of the date of this resolution. 2. Any excess tax increments collected from Tax Increment Financing District No.6 shall be returned to the County Auditor of Anoka County for distribution to the affected tax jurisdictions in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.176, subdivision 2. 3. The City Clerk-Treasurer is hereby directed to send a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Anoka County and to take all other steps which are necessary to decertify Tax Increment Financing District No.6. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota on July 24, 2007.
