<br />CASE # <br /> <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WATERS-OLDANI EXECUTIVE <br />RECRUITMENT TO NEGOTIATE AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE SELECTED CANDIDATE FOR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION <br /> <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On July 23,2007, the city council will interview the two remaining finalists for the city <br />administrator position. It is staff's understanding that upon completion of the interviews <br />the city council will name the city's next city administrator. Once the new city <br />adUlinistrator is named, an employment agreement must be negotiated with that <br />individual. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />At1he July 23,2007 work session, 1he city council selected to serve as 1he <br />city's next city administrator. Staff recommends that 1he city cOlmcil direct Andrea Sims of <br />Waters-Oldani Executive Recrnitment to negotiate an employment agreement with 1he selected <br />candidate. Once 1he agreement has been negotiated, staff will bring 1he agreement to 1he city <br />comcil for consideration. <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />The estimated cost of1he search for a new city administrator is $28,500.
