<br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WATERS-OLDANI EXECUTIVE <br />RECRUITMENT TO NEGOTIATE AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE SELECTED CANDIDATE FOR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey began conducting a recruitment process for the <br />city administrator position in January 2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2007 the city council interviewed six finalists for the <br />city administrator position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city council selected Patrick Trudgeon and Kurt Ulrich to <br />advance in the recruitment process for the city administrator position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the July 23, 2007 work session the Ramsey City Council selected <br />to serve as the city's next city administrator. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1. Directs Andrea Sims of Waters-Oldani Executive Recruitment to negotiate an <br />employment agreement with <br /> <br />2. Directs staff to bring the employment agreement to the city council for <br />consideration upon completion of the negotiations. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of July 2007. <br /> <br />CC: 07124/07 <br /> <br />-222- <br />
