<br />PCCASE# a <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On May 24,2006, Chris Curtis was hired as a patrol officer with the city. Mr. Curtis has <br />successfully completed his one-year probationary period as a patrol officer and the police <br />chief recommends retaining Mr. Curtis as a full-time regular patrol officer. <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />There is no additional funding required to remove Mr. Curtis from probation. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based upon satisfactory completion of the one-year probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Chris Curtis be retained as a full-time regular patrol officer with the city <br />of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion recommending that the city council adopt a resolution ending the probationary <br />period for Mr. Curtis and granting status as a full-time regular patrol officer. <br /> <br />PC: 07-24-07 <br /> <br />G:\Administration\HumanResources\Performance Evaluations\Ending Probation\Curtis, Chris 07-24-07.doc <br /> <br />-229- <br />
