Temporary construction signs shall be located <br />only upon the legally deseribedparccl on the building permit. Temporary construction signs are <br />exempt from the permit and fee requirements but shall be allO'.:",ed only as accessory to an <br />approved building permit for a project or de~,'elopment. Temporary construction signs may be <br />erected and maintained for a period not to exceed si).."!)' A fn,:ed fee, as established by City Council, per sign not removed '?,ithin the fourteen <br />(11) days v,ill be charged and said charges \\ill be used to defray the cost ofremo~/al by the City. <br /> <br />ST:lbd. 5. <br /> <br />Real Estate Signs <br /> <br />a. Temporary real estate signs may be erected for the purpose of selling, <br />promoting or leasing a residential proj eet of four (1) or more d'Nelling units or <br />any non residential project. Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of <br />leasing, selling or promoting a residential proj ect or any non residential <br />project are: <br /> <br />1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements but shall be allo',ved only <br />as accessory to an approved subdh'ision plat or site plan; <br /> <br />2. Limited to sixty four (61) square feet in area; <br /> <br />3. Limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon ~Nhich the property <br />abuts, exclusive of directional signs; <br /> <br />1. To be remoyed ',';hen the project IS one hundred percent (100%) <br />completed, sold or leased; <br /> <br />5. Not to bc located ~.\ithin fifty (50 feet) of a pre existing residence. <br /> <br />b. Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing indh'idual <br />parcels or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />2. Limited to six (6) square feet in area for residential property and thirty <br />two (32) square feet for non residential property; <br /> <br />3. Limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon whieh the property <br />abuts, exc1ush'e of directional signs (Exception: An additional "Open <br />House" sign may bo used); <br /> <br />1.
