The original CUP granted in 1999
allows Mr. Sigler to maintain a total of 7,240 square feet of accessory structure space, which
resulted in an overage of 2,140 square feet. Since 1999, accessory space maximums have
increased slightly; therefore Mr. Sigler's property has a current overage of 1,940 square feet. The
applicant is requesting an amendment to the existing CUP to allow for the construction of an
approximately 10,000 square-foot addition to his existing riding arena. This building would serve
as a storage area for multiple trailers and mechanical equipment. Currently, this equipment is
stored outdoors on a bituminous surface that surrounds the existing riding arena. Additionally,
there is a very substantial green house on the property that is estimated to be approximately 2,500
square feet, including about an acre of outdoor planting areas and potted plants.
