Co~missioner Brauer suggested comments from the commissioners that attended the Ramsey3
seSSIOns.

Commissioner Trites Rolle stated Ramsey3 opened her eyes to see that they could actually get
the people who normally do not all agree with each other to come to some understanding, and to
see people be appreciative of all the planning that went into the process. Even if participants did
not agree on the early process or the speakers they realized the value in it and felt they were part
of the City and part of the process. She thinks everyone was grateful for that and.that they were
heard. There were great ideas.

Commissioner Levine stated he thinks people felt as though they were truly participating in the
future of Ramsey.

Commissioner Hunt stated the whole process was educational. There was more that was agreed
on than disagreed.

Commissioner Cleveland stated she was not all that surprised by the things that were said. It
really came down to whether it is about you or about the City of Ramsey and the community as a
whole. This will be helpful when they start reviewing the Comprehensive Plan, and citizens
should still come forward and give their ideas.

Case #11:

Zoning Bulletin

Planning Commission/ June 7, 2007
Page 29 of31
