<br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik stated she emailed the commissioners about <br />the potential for the Planning Commission to serve as the hearing examiner under the abatement <br />program the City is moving forward with. Council adopted the ordinance last night and it was <br />the recommendation of management that a professional hearing examiner be utilized. The <br />reasoning was that the ordinance calls for a hearing within 10 days of the receipt of an appeal, <br />which would be a very short time to call a meeting of the Board. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners VanScoy, Brauer, Hunt, <br />Levine, and Trites Rolle. Voting No: None.
