Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF A PART -TIME <br />POLICE RECORDS TECHNICIAN AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO <br />RECRUIT TO FILL THE VACANCY <br />WHEREAS, Kelly Schmidt has resigned from a part-time police records <br />technician position effective August 17, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, the need for this position continues; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment process for <br />a new part-time police records technician. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Accepts Kelly Schmidt's resignation from a part-time police records technician position <br />and grants staff authorization to begin the recruitment process for a part-time police <br />records technician. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof- <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14 day of August, 2007. <br />—240— G: 1AdministrationlHumanResources \Recrui ment\Police\Police TechnicianWug 20071Auth to Recruit Police Tech 8- 14- 07.doc <br />
