Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #07- 08 -XXX <br />A RESOLUTION ABATING THE 2006 SPECIAL ASSESSMENT CHARGE OF $238.23 <br />ON PID #17- 32 -25 -12 -0002 <br />WHEREAS, annually the City assesses 50% of seal coating costs to affected residents; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, one single property has two PID numbers due to their property lying within <br />two school districts;; and <br />WHEREAS, each property that is one lot and one block, such as this property, are to be <br />assigned only one assessment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to grant an abatement of the 2006 special assessment <br />charge in the amount of $238.23 to PID #17- 32 -25 -12 -0002. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, to hereby abate the 2006 <br />special assessment charge in the amount of $238.23 for PID #17- 32 -25 -12 -0002. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24th day of August, 2007. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
