<br />Mr. Trudgeon replied he could not think of a case of this. Ifhe did, he would talk to the person <br />to find out their motivation and explain why a process is in place. He would stress the team <br />approach. He tries to instill in his staff that Council makes the final decision. <br /> <br />7. Tell us about a time when you failed to recognize or see the long-term impact of a <br />decision regarding your group's strategy. What happened and what was the result? <br /> <br />Mr. Trudgeon replied the Pond Subdivision. He stated the plat approval and growth at any cost <br />was the driver. The result was more forward thinking processes. He commented it is ok to make <br />mistakes as long as you learn form them. . <br /> <br />8. How much do you involve others when you must make a decision? How does this <br />vary by circumstance? <br /> <br />Mr. Trudgeon replied he involves others quite a lot. He very rarely makes a decision in a <br />vacuum. He stated this would continue in his role as the City Administrator. <br /> <br />9. What questions and/or concerns do you have regarding this promotion? <br /> <br />Mr. Trudgeon replied he is eager and willing to take on the City Administrator position.
