August 20, 2007 TO: City Council, City of Ramsey FR: MN Skyline Partners, LLC RE: Skyline Pointe Development Dear Mr, Mayor and Council Members: MN Skyline Partners, LLC would like to request a one-year extension on our Preliminary Plat for the Skyline Pointe development project located in the City of Ramsey. As you are aware, the unprece,dented real estate market we find ourselves in has made it increasingly difficult to move forward with our development plans for this particular project. However, having said that, we would like the Council to know that we are still working on various aspects of this project behind the scenes; we are trying to determine the best timing and approach in order to move forward with success. All parties involved worked extremely hard last year in a collective effort to obtain an approved Preliminary Plat for the Skyline Pointe development. MN Skyline Partners is proud of the progress everyone made in 2006, and we want the Council to know that our firm still strongly believes in this project including the beneficial impact it will have on the immediate community-and the City in general. As tough as the existing real estate market and other related conditions have been on this and other projects of MN Skyline Partners, it is still our desire to work with the City, the homeowners, and the surrounding community in an attempt to bring this development to fruition. As a result, we look forward to hearing from the Council regarding this particular request and how we can obtain a 12-month extension for our pending Preliminary Plat.
