Vehicles and heavy equipment are generally purchased through the Hennepin County Purchasing <br />Cooperative or the State of Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing Venture. Both of these <br />purchasing cooperatives have met all of the statutory bidding requirements, therefore, if the <br />vehicles and heavy equipment budgeted are purchased from these organizations, it would not be <br />necessary to advertise or proceed with the bidding process. <br /> <br />We do not currently have the contracts for either organization for our proposed purchases - both <br />should be available early in February.
