CASE # <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SKID STEER LOADER <br /> By: Jessie Hart, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Included in the 1997 Adopted General Fund Budget is $27,000 for the purchase of one skid steer <br />loader. This is a new addition to the equipment pool and would be utilized in various ways by <br />both streets and parks. <br /> <br />Due to the dollar value of this purchase (over $25,000) State bidding laws require that the sealed <br />bid process be followed. Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen has prepared the attached <br />specifications for a new skid steer loader. <br /> <br />As with any purchase or project that must comply with the bidding laws, Staffwill bring back to <br />the Committee a recommendation once the bids are received and tallied.
