<br />Ordinance #07 -09- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOwN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.01 "DEFINITIONS" and SECTION 9.12 <br />"SIGNS" OF CHAPTER NINE OF CITY CODE <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 ADDITIONS: The Following: shall be added to Section 9.01 <br />"Definitions" of Chapter Nine of City Code <br /> <br />Abandoned Sign - A sign which no longer identifies or advertises a bona fide <br />business, lessor, service, owner, product, or activity, and/or for which no legal owner can be <br />found. <br /> <br />Awning Sign - A building sign or graphic printed on or attached directly to a <br />hood or cover which projects from the wall of a building. <br /> <br />Banner, Pennant or Flag Sign - A sign made of fabric or non-rigid material <br />with no enclosing framework. Banners, flags, or pennant signs can be considered temporary or <br />permanent signs. <br /> <br />Bench Sign - A sign which is affixed toa bench. <br /> <br />Cabinet Sign- Any wall sign that is not of channel or individually mounted letter <br /> <br />construction. <br /> <br />70 <br />
