The <br />work program outlined herein includes all tasks necessary to complete the City Project (south half of <br />the improvement) and the Local Initiative Project (north half of the improvement). <br /> <br />As we understand it, the project would consist of three phases. The first phase would include <br />development and staff approval of a Mn/DOT layout. This work would include obtaining base <br />information, performing preliminary design, and coordination with Mn/DOT to receive State approval. <br />We have also included preparation of a Project Memorandum in the Scope of Services. This work may <br />not be necessary, but this determination has not been made by Mn/DOT at this time. If the Project <br />Memorandum is not required, we will not charge those hours in our contract. <br /> <br />The second phase would consist of preparation of final plans, specifications and engineer's estimate. <br />The third phase would include assistance in obtaining bids from contractors and construction staking <br />and observation. <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br /> <br />Phase I -- Preliminary Design <br /> <br />1.
