I am confident that you will not be disappointed if you move forward <br />with a work contract. <br /> <br />The Minnetonka Public Works Department started using an ICWC crew in March of <br />2004. The value received from that first contract resulted in the addition of a second <br />work group in 2006. Thesecrews allow the city to perform maintenance 'tasks that we <br />would not ordinarily have staff or time to complete. <br /> <br />Initial concerns that I had about the public safety of residents has vanished. Not a <br />single negative comment has come to my attention since 2004; Many full-time <br />employee evaluations contain positive statements about the ICWC crews. This is very <br />surprising because we have a unionized work force that is protective of its work. <br /> <br />Please feel free to contact me if you have questions orconcerns about the use of ICWC <br />work crews.
