<br />CASE # \ \ <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE TO BAN ULTIMATE FIGHTING IN <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />By: James Way, Police Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ultimate Fighting is an organized event where the primary purpose is to "beat" your <br />opponent into submission. The events are not regulated and can be very dangerous to the <br />participants. <br /> <br />The Cities of Fridley,. Blaine and Spring Lake Park have already banned the events <br />through city ordinances.
