<br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 11, <br />2007, in the Trott Brook Conference Room in the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood <br />Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Chairperson Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember John Dehen (arrived at 5:40 p.m.) <br />, Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br /> <br />Also Present: Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />Interim City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Police Chief James Way <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Jeffrey called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Councilmembers Jeffrey and Olson. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Councilmember Dehen. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Consider Ending the Probationary Period for a Utilities Maintenance <br />Workers <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed Kone reported that Jeff Erickson was hired as a Utilities <br />Maintenance Worker in February 2007. Mr. Erickson has successfully completed the required <br />six-month probationary period and the Director of Public Works recommends he be retained as a <br />full-time regular Utilities Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson and seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey to recommend City <br />Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary period for Jeff Erickson and granting status <br />as a full-time regular Utilities Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee - September 11, 2007 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
