<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig (arrived at 9:08 p.m.) <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:06 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Look. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec introduced new City Administrator Kurt Ulrich and presented him with a City of <br />Ramsey pin and official coffee mug that states "The City of Ramsey, Not the County". <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that he was looking forward to working with the Ramsey <br />residents, City Council and staff. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Jenny Karkowski stated that she was representing Anoka Hennepin STEP, an educational <br />program located on the Anoka Technical College campus. She stated that she was here to honor <br />Fire Chief Kapler who has worked with their students.
