Public Notice ~ Welcome to Ramsey's New City Administrator Kurt Ulrich! Mr. Ulrich began his work as City Administrator in Ramsey on September 17 after serving as the City Administrator in Mounds View since 2003. Prior to 2003, Kurt served in state government as the DNR Assistant Commissioner under the Ventura Administration. From 1985 to 1999, he was with the City of Champlin, serving as Com- munity Development Director for four years and City Administrator for ten years. Kurt's educational back- ground includes a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from University of Minnesota - Duluth, a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Studies from MN State University - Mankato, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, 1\~PPY ~ ~l ~ Happy Days Article ~ ~ ? Wanted: Police Reserves The city of Ramsey is accept- ing applications for Police Reserve Officers. The Police Reserve Unit consists of dedicated volunteers who operate in a non-sworn capacity as- sisting the Ramsey Police Department with uniformed preventative patrols, special events, and community polic- ing details. The Police Reserve Unit also performs many other non-li- censed duties related to police worl( and public safety. Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED and have a valid MN driver's license. Applicants who are selected as finalists must pass a thorough background investigation.
