Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />Case #9: Consider Acquisition of Tax Forfeit Property <br />Background: <br />The City has a 20 foot deep sanitary manhole located within the parcel, which accepts the <br />discharge from the lift station located in the Estates of Silver Oaks. Having a drainage and utility <br />easement over this entire parcel would serve public purposes if future repair to the manhole or <br />forcemain is ever necessary. <br />The City's cost during the six month withholding period will be $10 plus a recording fee. <br />Motion to recommend to the City Council that staff be directed to file a written application to <br />withhold Outlot A Wildlife Sanctuary Addition from sale and that the City proceed to acquire the <br />parcel for drainage and utility purposes. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />Case #10: <br />Background: <br />Consider Appointing a Vice -Chair for the Public Works Committee <br />Chair Elvig stated that he would like to appoint a Vice -Chair in case he cannot attend a Public <br />Works Committee meeting. <br />Motion to appoint Councilmember Dehen as the Vice -Chair of the Public Works Committee. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />
