CITY OF RAMSEY <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL AUDIT SERVICES <br />permit system is currently a stand alone and manually entered into the <br />general ledger. Utility billing services are currently outsourced to <br />Connexus Energy. <br />h) Availability of Prior Audit Reports and Working Papers <br />Interested proposers who wish to review prior years' audit reports and <br />management letters should contact Diana Lund at (763) 427 -1410. <br />The City of Ramsey will use its best efforts to make prior audit reports <br />and supporting working papers available to proposers to aid their <br />response to this request for proposals. <br />IV. TIME REQUIREMENTS <br />a) Proposal Calendar <br />The following is a list of key dates, up to and including, the date <br />proposals are due to be submitted: <br />Request for proposal issued <br />Due date for proposals <br />Selected firm notified <br />August 28 2007 <br />September 28, 2007 <br />October 9, 2007 <br />b) Schedule for the 2007 Fiscal Year Audit (A similar time schedule will <br />be developed for audits of future fiscal years if the City of Ramsey <br />exercises its option for additional audits.) <br />Each of the following should be completed by the auditor no later than <br />the dates indicated. <br />1. Detailed Audit Plan <br />The auditor shall provide the City of Ramsey by the 1 of <br />December, both a detailed audit plan and a list of all schedules to <br />be prepared by the City. <br />2. Interim Work <br />The auditor shall complete interim work by February 1st. <br />3. Fieldwork <br />The auditor shall complete all fieldwork by March 15th. <br />4. Review of Draft report <br />The auditor shall review the draft copy of the comprehensive <br />annual financial report (prepared by the City) and make <br />recommendations for change by April 15 <br />5. The final report along with the Management report should be <br />presented to the City Council on the first council meeting in June. <br />V.
