CITY OF RAMSEY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL AUDIT SERVICES a) Finance Department and Clerical Assistance The finance department staff and responsible management personnel will be available during the audit to assist the firm by providing information, documentation, and explanations. The preparation of confirmations will be the responsibility of the City of Ramsey. The finance staff will prepare all the supporting work papers requested by the auditor in their detailed audit plan. b) Work Area The City of Ramsey will provide the auditor with reasonable work space, desk and chairs. Photocopying facilities along with phone and fax service will be available as needed. c) Report Preparation Report preparation will be completed by the City staff. The staff will prepare and compile all required sections of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) including Introductory section, MD & A, Basic financial statements, Combining financial statements and Statistical tables required to conform to generally accepted accounting standards. The auditors will be expected to review the conversions, major fund determinations and the statements to ensure their compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and compliance with the GFOA Certificate program. VI. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS a) General Requirements 1. Submission of Proposals The following material is required to be received by 4:30 p.m. on September 28, 2007 for a proposing firm to be considered: a. Two (2) copies of a Detailed Proposal to include the following: i. Title Page _92_ Page 7of14
