. '

Civil Engineer II Linton stated TSM Development, Inc. has submitted a preliminary plat
application to develop the northeast comer of Bunker Lake Boulevard and Ramsey Boulevard.
The plat is Regency Pond 4th Addition. They propose constructing 3 self storage buildings and 3
retail buildings on the site. A plat was approved in 2004 for a portion of the property; however,
it was not filed with the County.

Motion by Commissioner Shryock, seconded by Commissioner Barr, to recommend park
dedication in the amount of $29,375 for Reg'ency Pond 4th Addition in cash and trail fees in the
amount of $6,758 to be paid in cash and to place the trail on their property where feasible.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Shryock, Barr, Hansen, and
LaMere. Voting No: None. Absent: Olds, Erickson.

Case #3:

Skate Park Planning - Preview Happy Days and Discuss Concept Plan

ParkslUtilities Supervisor Riverblood explained at the Commission's August meeting, the
planning process for the Skate Park proposed for 2008 within the Parks Capital Improvement
Program. The items have been delivered earlier in the week. He noted they purchased concrete
equipment. He thought the Commission met their goals by getting the City Council to approve
what they needed at the joint meeting in June. He noted they will have a sign up for email at
Happy Days for people who want to be involved in helping choose the skate park equipment.

Commissioner LaMere noted the Youth First site registration link was not working so he thought
someone should mention it to them.

Chairperson Johns noted the City website registration link was working.

ParkslUtilities Supervisor Riverblood stated he received a quote for $900 to cost out the west
half of the park to proceed with the skate park at Alpine Park. He noted he will try to get that
approved by the City Council at their next meeting.

COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT

. New Scoreboards at Central Park

Commissioner Hansen stated they have received the new scoreboards with clocks that staff
installed for them. He stated Football paid for a lot of it and the City donated a lot of their time
to this project.

ParkslUtilities Supervisor Riverblood noted Commissioner Hansen striped their football fields
and it was very helpful to the City.

Commissioner Hanson left the meeting at 7:10 p.m.

.
