Ms. Frolik noted that the lighting is subject to the City Engineer's review, and Mr. Bidwell stated <br />they are aware of that. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jensen inquired as to the nearest residential property. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden replied Lot 4, Block 3, Riverside West and Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, <br />Riverview Bowl were the closest residential properties. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to strike #6 since <br />reference to billboards is not pertinent to this conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Terry, Deemer, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by commissioner Jensen to amend Findings <br />#13 through #20 in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to recommend that <br />City Council adopt the amended Findings of Fact pertaining to Holm's Super Bowl's request for <br />a conditional use permit to establish an outdoor recreational facility. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the terms of the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik inquired whether the applicant had any objection to the hours of operation. <br /> <br />Mr. Bidwell replied that the 10:30 p.m. limit created no problems. He stated that they anticipate <br />the leagues to be finished by 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jensen inquired whether there would be any portable restrooms. <br /> <br />Mr. Bidwell stated they did not foresee the need for them at this time. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer inquired whether a door would be installed on the west side of the <br />building, and Mr. Bidwell replied that they do plan to install another door on that side. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/April 21, 1997 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
