is to facilitate land swaps between the three parties. One parcel owned by Bjorkland Concrete has <br />a large stand of mature oak trees which are being transferred to City property. In return Julian <br />Johnson will give Bjorkland a portion of his property, and Mr. Johnson will receive a portion of City <br />property to attach to his land. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson noted that Outlot B is 30 feet wide which is half of the proposed street. He <br />recommended that with this action the City create Outlot C identical to Outlot B to plan for the <br />entire street when it is put in. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that he would have no objection to the creation of Outlot C. The <br />City owns the property to the south, and the Planning Commission could make this recommendation <br />as part of this case. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend approval of <br />the sketch plan for Business Park 95 5th Addition with the recommendation Acting Chairperson <br />Deemer that the City set aside an additional 30 feet along the south side of Outlot B for the purpose <br />of a future street. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners LaDue, Terry Holland, <br />and Jensen. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Bawden and Commissioner Thorud. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer adjourned the regular Planning Commission meeting at 8:57 p.m. to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />Request to rezone certain property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential; <br />Case of K.C. Land Company <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer called the Planning Commission meeting back to order at 8:58 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone Certain Property from R-I Rural Residential to R-1 Urban <br />Residential, Case of K.C. Land Company <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the property to be rezoned from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 <br />Urban Residential consists of 21 acres north of 153rd Avenue. This action will facilitate the <br />development proposed to be platted as Alpine Estates which was discussed previously regarding <br />whether it is properly included in MUSA. The City Council has received advice from the City <br />Attorney that this property is a proper expansion ofMUSA.
