<br />The public hearing closed at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at 7:38 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt wondered if staff had any new information that would yield a different result. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler indicated they did not. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the resolution approving the request and authorizing staff to submit the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Cleveland, Brauer, Hunt, <br />Levine, Trites Rolle, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated for the record it would be helpful if the record would refer back to the <br />August 2007 Planning Commission meeting for factual information relevant to the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment recommendation in this meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request for Zoning Amendment; Case of TSM <br />Development, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:39 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearinl! <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:39 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated that TSM Development has applied for subdivision and site plan <br />approval to develop a new commercial project on the comer of Ramsey Boulevard and Bunker <br />Lake Boulevard. The project requires a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the land use <br />on a portion of the site from Places to Work to Places to Shop. <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the rezoning. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/September 6, 2007 <br />Page 3 of 15 <br />
